completely together yet?]
go down easy
and since i picked up linford's set list, he had some stuff scratched
down on the back, which bruce thought i should include... this is what he
said before the song:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
If I were to write you a letter
1) I'll never take for granted all these people gathered together in one
place to hear our music
2) I'll never take for granted an evening like this in Ohio in August
3) I'll never take for granted the fact that I'm doing something I love
to do
[at which point someone yelled, "you never should!"]
4) I'll never take for granted the fact that I'm doind this with you
This next song is a letter that I wrote to myself, with the help
of someone close to me, a while back. I wish I would remember to read it
more often. I gave it a name. It's called, "All I Need is Everything"

SEPTEMBER 6, 1997 (in the Park w/ Kentucky Symphony)
From: Brent Stewart (stooge17@rocketmail.com)
Lineup: Karin, Linford, Brian, Terri, Mike
Latter Days (w/orchestra)- excellent arrangement, though it makes me
miss Ric a little, thinking that he can simulate a whole orchestra
with his guitar.
Faithfully Dangerous- the new slow, sultry version.
at this point Linford mentioned that he'd never been to devou park and
that he have to "bring the dog up here."
Poughkeepsie-again, no orchestra, though i think it would be
interesting to see what they could have added to this one.
Linford now said that if they take these guys on the road they'd need
a bigger bus, to which Karin added "but you all have to share one
room."
All I Need is Everything (w/orchestra)-again i can't believe how much
Ric could do!
a couple pieces by the orchestra and an intermission later:
Mary's Waltz (w/orchestra)- very nice. Linford, Karin, and the
orchestra.
Jacksie!(w/orchestra)- the first yime i've heard this in concert and
well worth the wait!
Jack's Valentine-dedicated to the guitar player, Jack, who wasn't in
attendance tonight, still being over seas.
Dancing Queen(w/orchestra)- this one really got the crowd up and
dancing! pretty cool ending.
