Last night's show was fun! K&L were very upbeat, almost giddy with one another. They said they had been piano shopping for Linford as his old one bit the South by Southwest dust. They were about to settle on one that was not exactly the one he was looking for when someone out of the blue approached them to say he was looking to sell a piano like Linford wanted as a replacement for the stolen stuff from a few years ago!

K& L were on their own...no band or opener. They played a set and when they came back said they realized they didn't plan on a long enough set to cover for not having an opener. So they played on, off the cuff and took a few requests.

I was with some more casual OTR fans and one newbie. It was a great way to celebrate my 20th show. I can't remember the entire set, but here is my best effort:
Drunkards Prayer
Bothered
Born
I want you to be my love
Fever
The Seahorse
*Linford played a piano solo and talked about Unspoken Requests, then read a new poem about the city
Hush Now
Latter Days - Beautiful!!!!

Lookin Forward
Orphan Girl
Hometown Boy
Jesus in New Orleans
My Love is a Fever
Lifelong Fling
