Hello friends,

After months of not being able to share live music, we have a festival update, and what feels like some very good news.

We have been consulting with epidemiologists here in the state of Ohio and spoke with all of our confirmed artists, several of whom have significant underlying health conditions. For the safety and health of all involved, including those of you who will be coming to the farm from near and far, we have decided to reschedule Nowhere Else Festival for just a bit later in the year: Labor Day Weekend, September 3-5, 2021.

There was strong consensus that holding off just a bit longer would be wise. And we are happy to share once again that our amazing lineup of artists is confirmed for the new dates!

We can promise you that many of us will cry real tears when the music, finally, starts.

We’ll be announcing some additional visual artists soon, as well as the morning workshop schedule. This gathering is going to be so lovely and cathartic. We need it.
We have 23 acres of green space, and we’ll have some smart health protocols in place. Most of us will be vaccinated well before then. And we will carefully manage the overall size of the crowd to make sure that there is plenty of space to comfortably ease back into some great music, some real conversation and some much needed healing — together. We are confident we can do this safely.

We hope you will make plans to join us Labor Day Weekend, and help us spread the word!

Visit nowhereelsefestival.com for tickets, and we will see you on the farm. Truly, something to look forward to...

(All existing tickets will be honored for the new dates. All current ticket holders should have already received a letter from Port Merch. And if September is just not doable, you can hang on to your 2021 tickets for May of 2022, and we will honor them next year.)

Questions: please don’t hesitate to email us at overtherhineofficial@gmail.com — we’ll be happy to help.

Looking forward to seeing you this September!

And in the meanwhile, if you need a shot of musical love, the concert we recently filmed at home is still available through midnight of March 6. We recorded 17 love songs of all shapes and sizes in our old farmhouse and in the loft of the barn.

Whether you’re alone, together or somewhere in between, we think you’ll enjoy this trip through the many shared years and miles, tears and smiles. Make plans for a cozy evening, pour a glass of something good, enjoy.

(For those keeping track, we recorded 5 songs from Drunkard’s Prayer, 2 songs from Good Dog Bad Dog, 2 songs from Patience, 2 songs from Ohio, 2 songs from The Trumpet Child, 2 songs from Meet Me At The Edge Of The World, 1 song from Films For Radio, 1 song from The Long Surrender and took a run at a classic we had never performed before.)

Take good care of each other. More news that’s fit to sing coming soon.

There is still so much music left to be made,
Linford and Karin for Nowhere Else Festival
