poncho1973:

What an interesting show. I didn't make it down to Stuart again... but this year (again) I didn't have to. They found a much better Orlando venue than the Backbooth a year ago. I have lived in Orlando for 10 years or so now and I didn't even know this place existed. I remember when I moved here it was a functional cheap movie house. It was odd, but very functional. The seats began about 50 feet from the stage, but people gladly filled in the "mosh pit" and sat on the floor. We stayed in our seats.

One couple "rebelled" (per Karin) and stood the entire show. I heard a few people complain that they blocked their view, but it wasn't too bad. I think most everyone found the girl in the couple's camera with the BRIGHT LCD display a bit annoying. If she would've been more polite with her LCD I would've applauded them for just having a good time and enjoying the show. The light was in poor form.

I can't help but feel cheated on the incredibly short show. The show started about 9:10pm or so and we were walking out about 10:40pm. That said... it was short, but sweet. Nothing really old, but it was a solid mix.

Setlist: (by album... I think I got everything)

Films for Radio - If Nothing Else, When I Go
Ohio - Ohio, Suitcase, Cruel & Pretty
Drunkards Prayer - Born, Hush Now
Snow Angels - New Redemption Song
Trumpet Child - Trouble, If a Song Could Be Prez, Don't Wait for Tom
Live stuff - Orphan Girl
