It was our first OtR concert, having just become familiar with the music in the last several months.
What a great night of music at the Respectable Street Cafe -- my first time there, so I didn't know what to expect. It's a small, intimate venue, but you do get close -- - especially the guy doing the 'dancing' right in front of the stage through all three acts.
We had a great evening; since I'm new to the music, I'm not familiar enough with the songs to know where they all fit in, but I did recognize the ones from 'Drunkard's Prayer' - which is a wonderful CD to sit in a quiet place and listen to.
The music, the voices, the holy harmony of it all were just great, and
we thank you for taking the risk in coming down here where you're a little
less known than in your part of the country. I'm hopeful that will change
as a result of your being here with us. We just want you to know we appreciate
what you brought us . . . and the circle of fans widens.
