It was another great night with OTR...this time in my homeland.

It was again a performance without Mickey and Jake. Karin explained they were stranded in Nashville as the plane they were on had mechanical difficulties and after sitting in the plane on the tarmac for 4 hours, the flight was eventually cancelled and they were grounded. Karin expressed how really it so lucky we were that the malfunction was discovered before they were airborn. Absolutely.

Karin and Linford, along with an exceptional violinist and lap steel musician (whose name I am so ashamed to have forgotten) gifted us with another beautiful performance. Not remembering the order of songs, but Dawn and Jeff got the setlist and had it signed so I will leave that to Dawn.

There was an impressive OTR entourage grouped in the mosh pit. I'm sure we acquired several new fans with our exhuberance about them.
A huge hit with the Boulder crowd was IASCBP. Yeah!! Cheers were scattered throughout as Karin and Linford sang.

I am SO excited to learn the our dynamic duo recorded a two song set in Studio C for KBCO yesterday morning. That is HUGE, folks. KBCO puts out an exclusive original CD in December every year that people come from all over to line up and buy in freezing cold temps every year. After they are gone, they're gone. EBay has them for big bucks afterwards. Very cultish.

Anyway, it would be fantastic if we could please email or call KBCO to include OTR on this years album. Also to play the new album on air when it is released. It would REMENDOUSLY increase their fanbase in the Southwest.
KBCO Studio C photo gallery and website. I will be making phonecalls as well as a local patron.

I am delighted to have finally met Dawn and her husband. They were joined by two more friends, one of whom had been at the Albuquerque show as well. Great new friends and so much fun to be with.  Brand new friends are Joy and Aaron. (J & A). Old time fans from Denver by way of Nashville but brand new to the message board. They had also been in Albuquerque. I had seen them but not known they were homies. Super nice couple and devoted fans. They will be excellent Apples, folks... no 'boutadoubt it.

It was wonderful to chat with Karin and Linford after their set (which was entirely way too short) and they looked great. I couldn't notice any remaining effects of the bicycle/bee sting mishap on either of them. Karin suede boots are to DIE for.

Wishing I could be at the Denver performance when they come through in Sept. I love these guys as if they were my kids.

Waiting for the Taft date to appear. We'll shut down Cincinnati and Norwood this year...fer sher.
