A nice 4 hour drive through the beautiful rolling hills of Western Wisconsin led me to Mad-town. I met Bob near the venue, and we had lots of time to kill, so off we went to State Street, and true to form for me and him also was to hit 3 CD stores. The venue was a theater near the State Capitol and I had gotten us seats in the first opera box, practically right on top of the band. Perfect. I met some people a few boxes away from us, Patrick and Tracy from Milwaukee.
Pat is a professional photographer, and I'm going to see if he can post his photos or at put them up on his web site. A real nice couple, and this was their first live OtR show. The show went well, the sound was real nice. The only disappontment was the venue was not even half full. But the audience sure made it sound like it was full. A great show. I think this one was my favorite overall show, because it was in such a beautiful venue.

Highlights included Suitcase, a kind of short little mini jam on Orphan Girl with Karin, Linford and Jake, and I really like the organ that they've added to some songs, especially Who'm I Kiddin', that song just rolls along. Here's some pics from Madison:
