It's always a pleasure to see Over the Rhine but I didn't honestly feel this was one of the band's most inspired shows, although there were certainly high points (including this exquisite performance of Snow Angel). There was a lovely moment when they played I Want You to Be My Love for a couple who had written to them to request it. It was their wedding song, and toward the end they got up to relive the moment in the aisle of the theater to much applause. smile.gif

Vienna Teng (with sidekick/producer Alex Wong) turned in a very engaging performance, as she has every time I've seen her. She and OtR make a perfect double bill, IMO.

I was glad for the opportunity to catch up with Linford and Karin on the streets of Tarrytown before the show, and it was a rare treat to hang out with my old pal Slacker Jane!

Looking forward to their show in Old Saybrook CT this Saturday.
