I'm sorry, but I didn't write down the setlist. This is from memory, so the order might be
slightly off. (The placement of BPD and Suitcase is particularly suspect.) Anyone else make
it to this show? Corrections on the setlist would be appreciated.

Hometown Boy
Anything at All
Jesus in New Orleans
Nobody Number One
All I Ever Get for Christmas is Blue
Ohio
Give Me Strength
Hallelujah
Suitcase
BPD
Silent Night
Poughkeepsie

My Love is a Fever
Show Me
Latter Days

A good show, but not the best I've seen from them. Rick Plant had a prior commitment to go
to an anti-handgun benefit or something, so Linford played a lot of bass tonight in addition
to keyboard... but sadly no organ. No Jack's Valentine or Let it Be, either. It was really
cool to hear Linford on the bass like in the old days (not that I got to see them live back
then -- I was still too young to get into clubs and bars). But I did miss the organ, and I
assume they dropped Jack's Valentine because of having to make up for Plant being gone. And
Linford being on bass meant him sitting away from the microphone, so we didn't hear him say
hardly anything all night. So I think the lack of Plant threw things off a little bit. But
it was great hearing Hometown Boy on this tour, as I hadn't yet, and Jesus in New Orleans
without piano was interesting. If you haven't yet heard their cover of Hallelujah or the
Karin/Matt Slocum Give Me Strength, you're in for a treat when you do hear them. Really
lovely. BPD and My Love is a Fever were forceful and had substantial hips. And I quite
enjoyed All I Ever Get... (a song I'd never heard before) and the funkier version of
Silent Night. Karin remarked that they'd like to do another Christmas album, but their
label doesn't want one.

Sorry I didn't take notes, or I'd have more to say (and if I wasn't as tired). But it wasn't
as great a show as the last one I saw (Philly a couple months back) and also not as great
as I was expecting based on the few shows before this on the December tour. Not a bad show,
but they weren't as on as usual, and I assume it was mostly because they were missing a bandmate.
